Lucía Malandro

Creación

She entered the Multidisciplinary School of the Dramatic Arts (EMAD) in 2011, specialising in lighting and scenography in the performing arts. In 2018, she enrolled in the International School of Film and TV (EICTV), where she is currently studying the final year of the degree course in film direction within the Documentary Chair. In 2021 she was selected to participate in the Berlinale Talents, Buenos Aires Edition with her debut film Las Hortensias, a feature film project in development. Her documentary project La Isla Sumergida was a Waterbear Pitch finalist at Sheffield Doc in England. Since 2019 she has been working with the Uruguay-based magazine Revista Film, specialising in cinema, interviewing leading figures from the contemporary film world.
