Anouk Moyaux is a visual artist who lives and works in Marseille, France. She has a Master’s degree in Art, Science and Society from the Haute école des Arts du Rhin in Strasbourg. In her work, she is particularly interested in the impact and place of narrative, myths and traditions in modern Western societies. She explores this vast subject through a documentary approach and narrative bricolage ranging from performance to film. Since 2020, she has been part of l’Argent, an artist-run film lab dedicated to photochemical cinema. It is in this context that she became passionate about the 16mm medium, which she links to the magical essence of cinema. She is currently directing medium length 16mm colour documentary in Los Angeles.
