Born in Cambrils, Tarragona, Mónica Cambra graduated in Audiovisual Communication from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, specialising in film editing at the BSM-UPF. She is co-director and co-editor of the feature film Un sol radiant, produced by Atiende Films and winner of the D’A Film Lab 2022. She also directed the short environmental film Mareas Ocultas, winner of the DocsBarcelona 2020 festival. Since then, she has worked as an editor on fiction, non-fiction, visual essay and found footage films.
