Inês Nunes, originally from Tavira, studied cinema at the Lisbon Theatre and Film School, specialising in directing. História da Noite is her graduation film, a short fiction film that premiered at the IndieLisboa International Film Festival in 2019. Since 2015, she has been working as a video editor, while continuing to develop her own projects. Sonho de um Verão premiered at the Curtas Vila do Conde International Film Festival in 2020, and No Escuro, her last film, is currently in post-production.
