Hector Antonio Márquez Baca has an undergraduate degree in Trade Relations from the National Polytechnic University (IPN). His professional areas of interest include cultural management and the organisation of film festivals, and he worked with the guest management team at the Los Cabos International Film Festival (2018-2020) and the programming teams at the Guanajuato International Film Festival (2015-2020) and the Ambulante Documentary Tour (2018-2020). He is currently finishing a degree in Communication at the Autonomous National University of Mexico (UNAM) and forms part of the programming team at Cinépolis México.
