Francisco Armenteros discovered documentary and experimental film while studying at the Madrid Community Film and Audiovisual School (ECAM) and decided to explore this path. During the making of his various short films, he gradually began to identify his principal concerns, along with an interest in everything that has been lost, but whose echoes remain. In 2022, he made Ruinas Futuras, his first medium length film, which is currently being distributed around the festival circuit. At present he is engaged in several different projects, while at the same time exploring other facets such as writing, drawing and photography.
