Fantasma, animal (Clemente Castor, 2020, 17 min.)

The body as such proposes its own limits and, therefore, its own utopias. Transcending corporeality, but from corporeality itself, is a specific matter of these fantasies and desires. How should this transcendence be considered? How should the body's utopias be approached? Consciously or involuntarily, cinema has always been considered in relation to the body. The camera, as an extension. The screen, as a way of arranging it in space. In this programme, cinema and the body are considered once again, from their limits and towards their achievements. In the body of a drone, another body: human, old.

Super Natural (Jorge Jacome, 2022, 85 min.)

"Let's take a deep breath and swallow the earth". A robotic voice speaks to us in "Supernatural". It invites us, the human audience, to partake in a cinematic experience. What does that mean? The film, rather than an answer, is this and many more questions. As if the very process of doubting and uncertainty will guide us through the bodies, the seas, the mountains and gazes. The narrator's voice questions, and we, the audience, find ourselves obliged and eager to question ourselves with it.
