Director of Artium since 2018. Graduate in Art History (1999) and Fine Arts (1998) from the University of the Basque Country (EHU/UPV) and Diploma in Advanced Studies in Art History (2003) from the same university. Her main areas of research revolve around the construction of historical narratives and contemporary artistic languages. Her specialisation in the aforementioned fields of research has enabled her to give lectures at centres and institutions such as the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía MNCARS (Madrid), the Círculo de Bellas Artes (Madrid) or the Moderna Galerija, (Ljubljana), as well as to develop a corpus of articles and essays published in specialised journals and publications. She has also edited monographic publications on different artists. She has curated numerous group and monographic exhibitions, among others, those dedicated to Itziar Okariz, Julia Spínola, María Luisa Fernández, Susan Hiller, Erlea Maneros Zabala, Juan Luis Moraza, or Néstor Sanmiguel Diest, organised in national and international spaces and institutions such as MARCO (Vigo), MUSAC (León), Azkuna Zentroa (Bilbao), CICC Tabakalera (Donostia-San Sebastián), Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo (Móstoles), castillocorrales (Paris), Sculpture Center (New York), or the MNCARS.
