Thaïs is the title of the only film ever directed by Elena Jordi, an actress and theatre-based businesswoman from Catalonia who was the first women to direct a film in Spain. After several appearances in the specialist press in 1918, her face disappeared forever; the film was never found and the name of the filmmaker fell into oblivion. This project researches and speculates about this unfinished, lost film, in order to question the gaps in our archives from a feminist perspective.
