Silvia Cruz began her career working in different areas of film. In 2010 she founded the distribution firm Vitrine, which has distributed over 130 films to date, including Brazilian productions, international co-productions and foreign films. Her biggest hits are Aquarius, by Kleber Mendonça Filho; Hoje Eu Quero Voltar Sozinho, by Daniel Ribeiro; O Processo, by Maria Augusta Ramos; Frances Ha, by Noah Baumbach; and Roma, by Alfonso Cuarón. In 2019, Vitrine will be launching two more films: Divino Amor, by Gabriel Mascaro and Bacurau, by Kleber Mendonça Filho.
