Olatz Arrieta was born in Eibar in 1997 and studied Audiovisual Communication at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), receiving a special mention in visual and production studies and multimedia production. She has worked as a scriptwriter on several short films, including Margozko begiak and Ikusmiran, which won first prize in the 2018 Gaztezulo competition. She has engaged in work experience in the radio broadcasting, voice-over and production departments at the Casco Viejo Association in Vitoria-Gasteiz. She is passionate about film, scripts and research.
