Elisa Massaro was born in Rome in 1992 and has a degree in Communication, specialising in Cultural Anthropology, from the University of Torino. Interested in documentaries, she has completed a number of visual projects with the university on the Filipino, Peruvian and Bolivian communities in Torino, and has attended several courses on the participatory methodology: prison memoir biographies, participatory video and community theatre. Her latest video experience was in Spain, where she worked as an assistant on the documentary project Amores trashumantes by Iban Ayesta Aldanondo.
