Martha Helga López was born in La Paz, Bolivia and currently lives in Madrid. She has a BA in Film Studies from the Camilo José Cela University, specialising in artistic management. She has worked as the artistic director and set property master on numerous short films, one of which, Es decir, nosotros, won the Vimeo audience prize at the 2016 Sundance Channel Shorts. She also focuses on managing her own experimental and documentary pieces. In addition, she works as a film consultant on curatorial projects and is currently directing a film/photography project centring on self-portrait in the technological age.
