Hailing from Sweden and the Philippines, Anna de Guia-Eriksson has been living and working in London since graduating with first class honours in Comparative Literature and Film Studies from Queen Mary, University of London in 2013. Starting as a camera assistant, Anna has worked in various roles in the film industry including researcher, production manager, translator and editor. She harbours a deep love for filmmaking and exhibition, seeing the two practices as analogous to each other. In 2016 she founded Filikino, a non-profit film club bringing classic and contemporary Philippine cinema to London’s independent screens. She runs and curates Filikino herself, the only film-club of its kind in London.
