Valentín Vía has a BA in Audiovisual Communications and an MA in contemporary film and audiovisuals from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. He also completed a postgraduate degree in editing (IDEC), focusing on the theoretical field. He has published texts on bio-politics and exhibition cinema in the E-Repositori. Since 2017 he has also been an active contributor and participant in Drac Màgic and is part of the programming team for the latest Barcelona International Women's Film Festival. He is currently conducting research on experimental cinema, feminism and post-memory.
