Florencia de Múgica is an audiovisual producer and filmmaker. She studied at the UNA (National Arts University), earning a Bachelor's degree in Performance, before specialising in Film Production. She later studied under Marcos Pimentel at the EICTV (San Antonio de los Baños - Cuba), in a specialist workshop focusing on approaches to and the aesthetics of documentary film. She is also a graduate of the Film Programme run by the Torcuato Di Tella University. She was selected by the BIENAL DE ARTE JOVEN for her production of the short film ‘Película + Lava’ by Alejo Maglio; and also participated in the Berlinale TALENTS Buenos Aires, within the framework of the BAFICI, and was selected with her project ‘Irán’ for the development workshop run by the Talents Campus. At the end of 2014 she founded her own production company called Bomba Cine. As a producer, she has presented films at major festivals, including the Berlinale, the San Sebastián International Film Festival, Mar del Plata, Bafici, BFI London, the Valdivia Film Festival and Doc Lisboa, among others. She is currently developing a project with the director Pablo Agüero, and is involved in the feature-length documentary 'Una Sombra Oscilante’ by Celeste Rojas Mugica.
