He holds an MA in Visual Anthropology and Anthropological Documentary from the Latin American Social Sciences Institute (FLACSO), Ecuador and a BA in Social Communication from the University of Lima (Peru). He works as a university lecturer at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and as a researcher and audiovisual producer at the Maizal cultural association. His research and creative work centres on the themes of memory, territory, social movements and collaborative artistic practices. Over the years he has also worked as a freelance documentary filmmaker.
