Beatriz Bizarro Rodrigues was born in Lisbon, in 2001. From childhood she has been surrounded by art, practicing violin, writing, photographing, and drawing. In high school she has her first experience with cinema, a small project of making her own version of the short “The Perfect Human” (1968) by Jørgen Leth. After that she was completely charmed by this artform. Graduates high school with the creation of her own short film “Erro Vago” (2019). In 2021, she finishes studying at European Film College, in Ebeltoft, Denmark, focusing on directing, camera, sound, and production design. She participates in the creation of many short films, especially as a sound engineer and art director. Coming back to Lisbon she studies in the Fine Art College of Lisbon, completing the Bachelor of Sciences of Art and Heritage. Here she develops skills in conservation, curation, and theory and critique of art.

During her studies, she works at the Museum of Art, Architecture, and Technology, beinginvolved in the day to day works and movement of the museum. She finds an easiness with public speaking, particularly in this role of communicating about and relating art to different people. She redacts an investigative report on the exhibition “Hoje Soube-me a Pouco”, a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Carnation Revolution - the 25th of April of 1974, Portuguese Revolution – curated by João Pinharanda, which is still to this day used by the museum’s team. She looks to pursue art for the rest of her life and explore what means “to go to the museum” and what you should find there.
