He holds a PhD cum laude in Film and Artificial Intelligence from Pompeu Fabra University, a Master’s degree in Interactive Media from the University of Limerick and a degree in telecommunications engineering. Co-founder of GusanoFilms and Artefacto; his films have been screened at TIFF, NYFF, Rotterdam, IDFA, Hot Docs, SXSW and Visions du Réel, amongst many others, and he has twice won Colombia’s National Documentary Award. He is an associate professor at Pompeu Fabra University and the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and sits on the selection committee for the IDFA Bertha Fund.
