Adrián García Prado studied Audiovisual Communication at Rey Juan Carlos University, completing his end-of-degree assignment on the work of the Basque filmmaker Javier Aguirre. Since 2015, he has helped with the organisation and programming of several film clubs in Madrid, including La Morada, Inducine and Cineclub Chantal. An assiduous user of the Spanish Film Library, he is a self-taught student of film theory and history and is particularly interested in filmmakers such as Henri Langlois, Luciano Berriatúa, Jean Louis Comolli and Noel Bürch, whose work has prompted him to research the technical and formal innovations that have emerged throughout the history of cinema. He has made several experimental short films and has collaborated with Capricci Cine in the coordination and presentation of films in different venues in Madrid. In 2019 he finished his first feature film, Actos de primavera', which was premièred in the Latexos section of the Novos Cinemas Festival in Pontevedra.
