Lorena Escala has a Bachelor’s degree in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Lima. She has worked as a film research assistant and programming aide at the Ventana Indiscreta and Armando Robles Godoy alternative film theatres, the second of which is run by the Peruvian Ministry for Culture. She has worked as a technical assistant at many of the cinematographic project competitions organised by the State. She collaborates with the film magazine published by the University of Lima and her main areas of interest are audiovisual research and archive management.
