Montevideo, 1991. Alejandra Frechero has a Bachelor's degree in Social Communication from the Catholic University of Uruguay. She has worked as a photographer and copywriter in several media and press outlets and since 2015 has collaborated with the Cine fac (Contemporary Art Foundation) Laboratory. She is currently a member of the programming team at Cinemateca Uruguaya and the Uruguay International Film Festival. She teaches analogue photography and works also as an independent photographer.
