Pablo Lillo was born in Albacete in 1997 and is currently completing his studies in Audiovisual Communication at Carlos III University in Madrid. He spent a semester at the Baltic Film, Media, Arts and Communication School (Tallinn), where he explored the field of photography, installation and DTP, an experience which gave rise to several exhibitions and publications (‘La mejor fruta que nunca probé’, ‘Õismäe’, ‘Candela, candelae’ and ‘Supermarket Love’). Throughout the course of his studies, his interest in film has gradually focused in on production and curation. He is particularly interested in non-fiction films, especially those featuring counter-hegemonic discourses, aesthetics and policies. He spent 9 months as an intern at Avalon PC and is currently a programmer at Cineteca Madrid, working on the ‘CineZeta: Jóvenes programadores’ project. He also coordinated Abycine Lanza 2019.
