Muriel Holguín

Muriel Holguín (2022-2023)

She is a traditional filmmaker and animator. She studied painting at the Art School of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. She has over six years’ experience in producing animated video clips and animated segments for a range of organisations and channels and has exhibited in several group and solo shows. In 2016 she and her fellow artists founded the Tenis studio, an audiovisual production company specialising in traditional and experimental 2D animation for film. She is currently working on her first experimental short film as a director, Las cosas bien hechas, as well as on animation for the documentary film La danza de los Mirlos.
