She holds a BA in Communication Sciences from La Salle University Cancun and a diploma in Cultural Management from the National School of Plastic Arts, now the Faculty of Arts and Design of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Nadia Olvera began her professional career working on developing promotional and internal communication campaigns for educational institutions. Over the last eight years, with the aim of focusing her work on cultural management and promotion, she has collaborated on various film festivals and film production projects. Beginning with the Guanajuato International Film Festival, she went on to get involved in projects such as the UNAM International Film Festival, the Los Cabos International Film Festival and in art and film promotion and training events within the UNAM’s Coordination of Cultural Dissemination and Directorate of Film Activities. She has also worked in the production department on several film projects for Netflix and Piano.
