Creación
Paolo Tizón (2022-2023)

He is primarily interested in pre-Hispanic artistic expression in Peru, the role of the armed forces in his country and the construction of masculinities. His first feature film Vino la noche y me quiso llevar (in post-production) offers a sensitive, intimate look at the barrack life of a group of military recruits preparing to fight in a military intervention zone in Peru known as VRAEM. He has also directed the short film Sobre el cerro Lechuza (2020), which reflects on pre-Hispanic geoglyphs in the Peruvian desert. This short film has been screened at international festivals, including ULTRAcinema in Mexico, the Al Este Film Festival in Lima, and other alternative distribution spaces.
