Maria Aizpurua studied Journalism at the UAB in Barcelona, followed by a Master's Degree in Psychocreativity, where she learned to work in the worlds of Psychology and Communication from the perspective of creativity. It was there that his passion for cinema grew and he began to study documentaries. He has participated in several documentaries and in the last one he had the opportunity of directing and producing independently. Thus, she entered the world of documentaries and participated for two years in CPH:DOX, the Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival, in guest management and production. Once there, she was also part of the BUSTER Festival, Scandinavia's largest Children's and Youth Film Festival, managing the Industry Conference event, from where she jumped to DocsBarcelona to organise Parallel Industry Activities. She is currently part of the team at the San Sebastian Festival, working in Guest Management.
