After almost 15 years working in the audiovisual sector, in 2019 she decided to take a different career path, undertaking a degree in Information and Documentation at the Complutense University of Madrid. She combined her studies with a new career in audiovisual documentation at the consultancy Alok Media and then later working as a freelancer. Her end-of-degree project consisted of reconstructing someone’s life, drawing on archival sources.
Through her training as an archivist, her constant search for material for the various documentation projects she is engaged in, and the ‘Encuentro de archivos fílmicos’ (Meeting of Film Archives) organised by Xcèntric in January 2024, she discovered her path: to continue training in order to help safeguard the film heritage of her region: Asturias.
