Ainhoa Díaz (Barcelona, 2002) has a degree in Audiovisual Communication from Pompeu Fabra University, specialising in film directing and scripting. This led her to participate in fiction and documentary projects, and she independently produces pieces between fiction and essay film related to cities and bodies, space politics and time dilation. Her creative interests revolve around questions related to these concepts and narrative and visual experimentation. She has given talks on feminist culture and film in collaboration with the Autonomous University of Barcelona and has been accredited by various festivals (Cannes and Berlin, among others) as an independent chronicle writer. In 2023, her short film Si pogués sostenir-me com ho fan els arbres (If I Could Bear Myself Like Trees Do) premiered in the Nest section of the San Sebastián International Film Festival and is still in the distribution stage. She is currently collectively working on her next project.
