Director and editor, in 2024, Susel Legón graduated from a specialist course in Editing from the San Antonio de los Baños International School of Film and Television (EICTV), before which, in 2021, she graduated in Cinematography from the Faculty of Audiovisual Media Arts, at the University of the Arts of Cuba (ISA). She also studied at Onelio Jorge Cardoso Literary Training Centre in 2019. Winner of the César Galeano Short Story Prize for the story No pasa nada, and the El árbol que silba y canta Poetry Prize for the book Contumaces, she also directed the documentaries Familia (2019) and Viaje al final de la noche (2019), and the short fiction films SIlvia (2016), Niñas en la Playa (2017), Infancia (2018), La Laguna (2022) and Limbo (2022).
