Delfina Vazquez is a photographer and filmmaker who also explores the language of dance and editorial design. She uses image and movement to question the spaces she inhabits. Using her body, her work explores the relationships between nature and memory through artisanal experimentation. She directed the short film Puede una montaña recordar, produced by the Antes Muerto Cine collective, which premièred at It's All True 2021, where it won the Best International Short Film Award. It has also been screened at festivals such as RIDM Montreal, Doc Buenos Aires, Transcinema, Frontera Sur, Trento FF, Pravo Ljudski, MIC Género, Festifreak, and Blackcanvas, among others. She is currently developing the feature film Arroyo Invisible, an experimental documentary that looks into sewers to ask how the memory of water survives the destruction of its ecosystem. She studied film at public universities in Argentina and Mexico and trained in photography at Valeria Bellusci's studio. She completed the Film Programme at Torcuato Di Tella University and the Preservation, Conservation and Audiovisual Practices Programme at the Museo del Cine. She is a member of the R.A.T.A. Film Club and works as director of photography for documentary projects.
