Born in Andoáin in 2003, Yerai Martinez Velasco is currently in his final year of a Philosophy degree at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). His final year research project is on ‘expressionist cinema’. He has participated in both editions of the Gazteak Zinean programme organised by the UPV/EHU and Tabakalera. He has also served on the youth juries of the three most important film festivals in San Sebastián, on several occasions.
