Aia Kruse is an actress, screenwriter and director who, despite being born in San Sebastián, has lived in Madrid since 2012. She studied Acting and Performing Arts at TAI (2017), stage direction at Cuarta Pared, and film in New York ( MononoAware ), where she shot on 16mm. She completed her screenwriting training with Andoni de Carlos and Michel Gaztambide.

As an actress she has worked in film, theatre and television, appearing in Handia, Felicidad perfecta, Nora, Ane, El comensal, La isla de los faisanes, Desagertuta, Velvet Colección, La línea invisible, Altsasu and Code of Life, and recently starred in the TV series ESTU, which is currently in post-production. She combines her acting career with her creative work as a writer and director. In the world of theatre, she has directed both her own projects and commissioned productions.

In the audiovisual field, she founded Amura Films, through which she has produced short films such as Ezin (Márgenes), Dichoso (winner of the Notodofilmfest award) and Guardatiempos, as well as the documentary Lux Bona (which premièred at the FIVER festival). She has been selected for NOKA.
