Lucía Ferreyra (2018-2019)

She studied Film Direction at the Universidad del Cine. She specialises in photography and analogue cinema, experimenting with 35 mm, 16 mm and S8 mm formats. With her independent production company, Médano Cine, she has been producing audiovisual content since 2013. She produced and directed Forastero (2015), a début film that was screened at festivals such as BAFICI, Mar del Plata, Riviera Maya and Sao Paulo. Her works have been shown in places such as the Museum of Contemporary Art of Buenos Aires (MACBA), the San Martín Cultural Centre and the Conti Cultural Centre. She participated in the 2013 Film Laboratory of the Torcuato Di Tella University, under Martín Rejtman and Andrés Di Tella. She studied Film Criticism and collaborated with the magazine El Amante Cine. In 2017. she took part in the Torcuato di Tella University's Film Programme, with filmmakers such as Andrés di Tella, James Benning, Joao Moreira Salles and Agustín Mendilaharzu. She is currently developing her new feature film project, El entusiasmo, a free and experimental adaptation of José Bianco's La pérdida del reino.
