Ramón de Fontecha Hidalgo (Madrid, 1992) studied Audiovisual Communication and Philosophy, engaging in work experience at the Spanish Film Library and the culture department of El Confidencial. For four years he worked as an assistant at the Ivorypress artist book collection and bookshop, which he ended up managing after a period coordinating international projects at the Brizzolis press. While at these two organisations he participated in different fairs and organised several encounters, collaborating with publishing houses, magazines, photographers and creative talents of all kinds. His interest in archives prompted him to set up a collective laboratory in which he researches different processes linked to video, film and photography.
