After graduating in Communication from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona and being awarded the Prize for Best Final Degree Project from the Gender Perspective for ‘El Panóptic, el joc de la Teoria Queer’, Clara Amorós Ordás subsequently completed a Master's in Audiovisual Creation and Direction at Elisava. She has produced several audiovisual pieces, including the music video Adiós (2020), which won a Laus Award.
She currently works at the independent film production company Inicia Films, focusing on editing, design and production. The production company is responsible for films such as Verano 1993, 20.000 especies de abejas, Sobre todo de noche and Los Destellos, all premièred at festivals such as the Berlinale, the Venice Biennale and the San Sebastián International Film Festival.
She combines her work with creating and directing her own short films. In 2024, she directed her first fictional short, Ball de foc, produced by Inicia Films. The film is currently in distribution.
She is now writing her second fictional short, L'Hóstia Sagrada.
