EQZE presents a new financial aid program for students
The Kinofabrika grants will be available to admitted students starting 2026-2027 Academic Year. These grants are in addition to the financial aid provided by the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council Department of Culture and the TSH Talent Foundation.

Starting with the 2026-2027 academic year, Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola (EQZE) will offer three of its own grants for the first time. The financial endowment of these grants will be 3,000 euros, intended to help cover students' living expenses during the academic year.
The three Kinofabrika grants will be available to candidates admitted to the course beginning in September of this year. The specific terms and conditions of this call will be defined in the coming weeks.
With the creation of the Kinofabrika grants, Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola incorporates its own financial aid program, adding to the existing support from the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council Department of Culture and the TSH Talent Foundation. In this way, up to eight students in the upcoming academic year could receive support for their training at the school.
The registration period for the three EQZE Master's programs (Archival Studies, Curating, and Creation) opened on February 1st and will remain open until the 28th.
Other grants
The Gipuzkoa Provincial Council Department of Culture will also announce three grants this year for students residing in the Basque Autonomous Community, consisting of 2,500 euros in aid for enrollment in one of the school's Master's programs. This call will be open to both candidates admitted for the 2026-2027 academic year and current students. In this regard, it is worth remembering that, as part of its commitment to film training and the audiovisual sector, the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa already subsidizes more than 50% of the tuition costs for all students.
Finally, the TSH Talent Foundation will offer two ten-month accommodation scholarships (from September 2026 to June 2027) at The Social Hub Donostia residence. The value of this aid is estimated at 8,000 euros. This non-profit organization manages training programs for students in vulnerable situations, aiming to facilitate their access to higher education and professional development.
