Three master programmes

Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola is an international center for thought, research, experimental practice, and pedagogical innovation surrounding the past, present, and future of cinema.

The purpose of EQZE is to train filmmakers in the broad, cross-cutting sense of the term; filmmakers that can actively confront and interact with the cinema of the past (through research and preservation), with the cinema of the present (through curating and programming) and with the cinema of the future (through creation) developing a comprehensive unitary vision.

The Master in Film Preservation Studies confronts students with the dilemmas (theoretical, technical, ethical) generated by cinema as material and immaterial heritage.

The Master in Film Curating Studies aims to define the specificity of film curatorship, a field with significant future potential, but still awaiting the identification and development of its own epistemology.

The Master in Filmmaking Studies addresses all aspects related to the creative processes of ideation, experimentation, gestation, and materialization of a work.
