Graduated in Design and Visual Communication at the Faculty of Arts and Design of the UNAM. Since 2016, he has participated in various film restoration projects with Filmoteca de la UNAM and the Laboratorio ‘Elena Sánchez Valenzuela’ of the Cineteca Nacional de México. Between 2020 and 2023, he was project leader for the restorations of the films La Sombra del Caudillo (Julio Bracho, 1960), Rosa blanca (Roberto Gavaldón, 1961), Los Caifanes (Juan Ibañez, 1967), El Bulto (Gabriel Retes, 1991) and Amor a la vuelta de la esquina (Alberto Cortés, 1986). He studied the Master's Degree in Film Preservation at Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, where he collaborated in the restoration of the films Antuca (María Barea, 1992) and Motilones lamistas (Marianne Eyde, 1977). He participated in the research project Depósito Zinebi, cataloguing 35 and 16 mm materials, and collaborated in the research projects Segunda mano and Piezas cinéticas y vanguardias escópicas through the digital treatment of the materials El negro (Eduardo Manet, 1960), L. B.J. (Santiago Álvarez, 1968), 79 primaveras (Santiago Álvarez, 1969) and Oración (Marisol Trujillo, Miriam Talavera, Pepín Rodríguez, 1984), as well as the nitrate Biarritz y sus alrededores (Compagnie Universelle Cinématographique, 1922). His Master's project, the restoration of the film En el balcón vacío (Jomí García Ascot, 1961), was recently premiered at the XXXIX edition of the Il CInema Ritrovato film festival.
