PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). After completing his postgraduate studies at the University of Leiden (Holland), he returned to the UPV/EHU to work as a lecturer in the Faculties of Science and Technology and Fine Arts. This experience awakened his interest in exploring the connection between Science and Art, which prompted him to engage in several dissemination activities. He collaborates with the Chair in Scientific Culture and the radio programmes Norteko Ferrokarrila and La mecánica del caracol.
