After earning a BA in Art from the University of the Basque Country, with a special mention in painting and graphics, Jone completed a postgraduate degree in management and cultural policies at the University of Barcelona. Professionally, she has developed her own artwork while at the same time working on cultural projects in the visual arts field, performing different management, design, production and curating tasks. As a complement to her main area of study, she has worked in several areas of the audiovisual industry, including coordinating the youth jury at the San Sebastian Film Festival. Over the last two years she has helped set up the Francisco Rabaneda Cuervo Foundation, and is currently developing contents it. At present, she is trying to promote cultural forums that allow for new forms of creation and programming that will bridge the gap between the worlds of plastic and audiovisual art.
