Sarah Fernandez Oks

Sarah Fernandez Oks is a film producer who studied at ENERC, where she produced the short films Transeúnte (selected for the Femmes International Festival of Film Schools and Cinema) and Una De Tantas (selected for REC and Cinema de Femmes). She began as a production assistant for films such as Crónica de una tormenta and produced music videos including Fresh, Soplo and Warhol. She was the production coordinator for the TV show Archivo de la Memoria Trans (Canal Encuentro, 2021) and the film El fotógrafo y el cartero (Netflix, 2022). In 2021, she was a member of the Mezcal Joven Jury at the Guadalajara International Film Festival and produced the sketch series Algo de Carlos, directed by Santiago Korovsky.

She works as an advisor and producer on audiovisual projects, with a special interest in the intersection between documentary film and new narratives, always seeking to create moving stories.

Her most recent production, supported by Untref Media, is the documentary film Nuestra cosa perdida. It is currently in distribution and has participated in workshops such as FIDBA and DocSur de Ventana Sur, among others. She is currently in post-production with the documentary Buscando a Bariş.
