Inês Nunes' "A Solidão dos Lagartos" will compete for the Palme d'Or at Cannes
The film by the student of the sixth graduating class of EQZE has been selected for the official short film section of the Cannes Film Festival.

The Loneliness of Lizards, the latest work by Inês Nunes, a student from the sixth graduating class of EQZE, has been selected for the official short film section of the Cannes Film Festival, which begins tomorrow. The eleven films competing in this section were chosen from nearly 5,000 submissions.
Before attending Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, Inês Nunes studied cinema at the Lisbon Theatre and Film School. Her films have participated in festivals such as IndieLisboa and Curtas Vila do Conde. She has been an editor since 2015, writing, producing, and directing her projects.
The Loneliness of Lizards and the rest of the short films participating in the competition will be screened on the 23rd. The Palme d'Or will be awarded by the Jury, presided over by filmmaker and producer Maren Ade, during the closing ceremony of the 78th Cannes Film Festival on May 24th.
