Natalia Marín (Spain, 1982) is an artist, programmer and teacher. Her artistic career started in 2009, in the experimental film group ‘Los hijos’, alongside Javier Fernández Vázquez (Anunciaron tormenta) and Luis López Carrasco (El año del descubrimiento). Her work has been widely screened at national and international festivals and art centres. Her latest solo work, La casa de Julio Iglesias, premièred at the Locarno Film Festival, before travelling to the Toronto International Film Festival, Viennale and Mar del Plata, among others. Marín has also participated in several collective exhibitions, including Expanded Plus Utopia at the Jeonju International Festival in South Korea. As a teacher, she regularly collaborates with EICTV (Cuba) ECAM and the EQZE. She has sat on the Selection Committee at the San Sebastián International Film Festival, and currently holds the post of Programming Coordinator and Programmer at the Spanish Film Archive.
