"The Time of Hypotheses" is the event in which the Master's students of the three specialties of Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola (Film Archive Studies, Film Curating Studies and Filmmaking Studies) exhibit the works they have developed throughout the course.
These proposals take different forms: plans and works of restoration and preservation of audiovisual heritage, editorial and film programming proposals, films in development, exhibitions and installations, research projects, and, of course, all the works completed during the course.
This program approaches cinema from all fields and prefigures dozens of paths, from the academic to the creative, to travel the geography and times of cinema. All the paths of cinema in two weeks.

10:15-11:00 Cartografías del cine peruano I: Óperas primas de ficción en festivales (2013 –2023) (Andrea De la Torre Perleche)
RESEARCH PROJECT
A simple question that opens up a complex debate: how can I screen my film at a festival? This piece of research is an exploration of how Peruvian debut works of fiction have circulated around festivals over a 10-year period. It highlights the urgent need to systematise and revisits the debate about the symbolic value of festivals. It also identifies coincidences and divergences in the films’ journeys and shares doubts about contemporary debates, neo-colonialist relations, intersectionality and the effects of internationalisation on films, among others.

PUBLICATION PROJECT
This publication aims to capture the sound of a cinema that rises up against the silence of convention and is determined to turn noise into language.
NOTE: Punctuality is requested. Presentations, screenings and other activities will begin at the time indicated in the program. Out of respect for the participants, once the presentation has begun, access to the space will not be allowed until the presentation is finished.
