Artistic Director of the Mar del Plata International Film Festival for the last four editions and part of the programming team since 2010. She holds a Master's degree in Creative Documentary from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain, and a degree in Communication Sciences. She is programmer of Neighboring Scenes: New Latin American Cinema at the Film at Lincoln Center in New York City, consultant at AntofaCine - Chile. She has been guest curator at Documenta Madrid - International Documentary Film Festival for two editions and has done special programmes for UNIONDOCS - Center for Documentary Art (USA), MACBA - Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Buenos Aires (Argentina), Museo Reina Sofía and La Casa Encendida (Spain) among others. She works as a teacher and mentor in international seminars and workshops at universities, film festivals and cultural programmes. She has served as a member of film project selection committees and juries in many international festivals such as Berlinale, FIDMarseille, Ficunam and Jeonju International Film Festival. She is editor of the bilingual collection Las Naves Cine and of the books El libro de Imagen (Ed. Argentina), Qué será del cine: Postales para el futuro and Cuadernos de Crítica 1 - Un nuevo mapa latinoamericano, among others. In 2021 she was part of the Advisory Board of the Film Study Center at Harvard University and in 2020 she was awarded the honorary title of Chevalier of the Arts and Letters by the French Ministry of Culture.
